How Brian Robak Went From $0 in Pipeline to $1.45M Closed-Won in 90 Days & Made President's Club... in July.

Brian Robak had a rough start to the year as a SaaS seller.

He had 'closed out' almost all of his pipeline last December.

As he walked into January, he was staring down the barrel of $0 in pipeline. With a knot in his stomach.

Yet Brian CRUSHED his ENTIRE annual number. Only halfway through the year.

Even with a slow start, he's already closed $1.45 million in ARR. You can imagine his commission accelerators...

A lot of that came from a $433,000 deal he closed (which he emailed me about).

This deal started with a $20,000 budget.

I interviewed Brian yesterday. Asked him his keys to success on that deal.

Here's 3 Keys to Closing $1.45M in Sales in 90 Days

1) Tell a pain-narrative so good, you peer into their soul.

"Most of our buyers don't really know what we do," Brian told me.

"On this deal, the VP Marketing had a limited vision of what we could solve for him. If I didn't fix that, they would have spent $20,000 max," he went on. 

"The key was to kickstart a bigger discovery conversation by walking him through a pain narrative he could see himself in. It got his head spinning in a good way. After that five minute walkthrough, he shared massive problems in the business with a much higher willingness to spend."

Now that's a priority with some willingness to spend!

Turns out, their buyer was staring at a $10 million problem.

What's a tiny $400k check compared to that? 

When you can quantify pain like Brian has learned how to do, big sales deals are yours for the taking.

He says: "I landed a meeting with the CEO and VP Marketing. I showed them a grand total of 1.5 reports in my product. That's it.

Yet I only showed him 15% of the total product. So counterintuitive. But so effective."
